Salvation

There is no magic to receiving God's salvation today. All you have to do is be honest and tell Jesus that you want Him to come into your life and be your Lord and Savior. You can say this simple prayer:

Jesus, I want to open the door of my heart to you and ask that you would please enter and be with Lord over my life. I want your blood, shed at the cross, to wash away my sins. Amen.

After receiving God's salvation, find a Church, read the Bible, and pray daily. Your life will never be the same.

Where did this come from?

When God looks at the people of this earth He can only see sinners who are separated from God and are in need of salvation. The Bible teaches that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23, NIV. The bible also teaches that "God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.", Romans 5:8, NIV

Jesus Christ says: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:19-21, NIV

Jesus is saying here that there is a closed door between you and Him. This is the door to your heart and it can can only be opened by you. Jesus is knocking now - asking you to open this door and allow Him to enter and wash away your sins. He is wanting to save you and bring you back to the way God wants you to be: a child of God.

The bible also teaches that you should not wait until tomorrow but open your heart today. It is written, "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." Hebrews 4:7.

When you open the door to your heart, you invite Jesus to enter your heart. According to His promise, He will come into your heart and into your life no matter where you are today. He will have fellowship with you (eat with you) and you will never again be alone. He will always be with you.

From that point on, you will be a sheep in the shepherd's hand. Jesus says: "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." John 10:11, NIV.

Jesus is willing to lay His life down for His sheep. This is a promise to us that we will always be in His most powerful hand and no one can ever take us out of the Lord's hand. We will be in fellowship with Him forever as Children of the most high King of kings and Lord of lords.
